40% back Hillary/Democrats

20% are pox on both your houses in the States these days...

I would just like to point out that Merkel and leader of the 2nd biggest party (now foreign minister) Sigmar Gabriel have an approval rating of 63% and 66%, respectively. The finance minister, Schäuble, has 62%, despite heavily emphasing on austerity (which is rarely popular.)

 

It's also why the upcoming election is somewhat boring. People are happy with their politicians, actually on both sides, so there's very little to debate about.
