If someone doesn't lock their door - does that give you the right to rob them?m If someone drops their wallet can you take their money? If at a store someone leaves the cabinet unlocked are you allowed to take whatever you want? Those are all examples of "physical theft" but none the less they can be applied to this situation.

I feel no sympathy at all for Sony in this. It's not like robbing. It's like a store saying something is free, then realizing that they made a mistake saying that it was free.
