I think that one of my favourite soundtracks from a not-so-popular game is Baten Kaitos. Motoi Sakuraba has always been genious and I think that was one of his masterpieces :D So many good songs to choose from, but this battle theme in particular is great:

I use this OST during DnD with my friends all the time! The music is so atmospheric!
