Killer Instinct will offer cross-play support between Steam and Windows 10/Xbox One http://www.dsogaming.com/news/killer-instinct-will-offer-cross-play-support-between-steam-and-windows-10xbox-one/ Back in June, Iron Galaxy Studios revealed that Killer Instinct would be coming to Steam later this year. And today, it has been confirmed that the game will support cross-network between the Steam and the Windows 10 versions. And given the fact that Killer Instinct already supports cross-play between Xbox One and Windows 10, all gamers will be able to play together.
>>They can do it with K.I. but not for games like Halo Wars? I guess they really want K.I. to succeed.

I find this stupid that its even a thing on PC that people who buy a game from a different store is locked out of the other stores servers in the first place.
Once a game is on PC no matter what store it comes from all gamers should be able to play together without having to hope for "Cross platform" play...
