I skipped DW6 because I didnt own a PS3 at the time... boy was I lucky

But for the love of god this better not be trash, its felt like forever since I played DW now and Ive been craving a new one.

I got the Xbox 360 version of DW6 so... I wasn't so lucky Although to be fair the game did grow on me, and at the very least it's definitely aged better than 5 (played both of them again in the last year actually).

Did you play 8? Cuz if you didn't... why haven't you if you're craving a new one? 8 is by far the best DW I've played. Widest variety of characters, no cloned movesets, most stages, hypothetical and historical storylines, battle system that's fun. It has everything

Yeah played the shit out of DW8XL on PS4 when it launched. Skipped Empires coz that came out just a year later and weve had nothing since. Its actually going to end up being 3 years between Dynasty Warriors games releasing. The only other Musou I played since 8XL was Hyrule Warriors because Zelda, not a fan of any of the other Musou spin offs really.
