Druids and Murlocs hit hard in biggest Hearthstone balance patch for years

Blizzard has just announced some extremely significant balance changes to several Hearthstone cards. The biggest changes come to the Druid class, which sees a nerf to both the classic card Innervate and the new problem child Spreading Plague, but popular power cards from the classic set like Warrior's Fiery War Axe and Shaman's Hex have been hit as well.

I wanted to like Lifeless Planet more than I ultimately did: The mystery of an ill-fated journey to an alien world that shows signs of a previous Soviet colonization effort seemed aimed squarely at my love of pulpy sci-fi, but it ultimately didn't pay off as well as I'd hoped. It came close enough, though, that I was excited by the announcement earlier this year of a "spiritual successor" called Lifeless Moon, a tale of Apollo-era astronauts who go to the Moon and find themselves back home. Creator David Board said at the time that the new game would be supported by a Kickstarter campaign, and today he announced that it is live.

Dishonored 2's Death of the Outsider expansion could've focused on Whaler captain Daud, but the decision to instead go with protege Billie Lurk seems like a good one. Despite the fact developer Machinegames reckons it "isn't a commentary on current topics", it does have scope to offend, given its sensitive subject matter. After Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption teased its Souls-meets-Shadow of the Colossus-meets the Divine Comedy makeup a few weeks back I was intrigued. Like a page torn straight from Miyazaki's scrap book, its towering bosses, pithy protagonist and dodge rolling combat echoed that of Lordran and beyond - however its sacrificial mechanics sounded cool and unique.
