Its going to happend at some point... its just a question of if its 2017 or 2018.
2017 would be a power move, that could hurt the xbox one x.
A slimmer more power effecient & quiet, PS4pro slim, thats also 50$ cheaper than current model.
PS4pro slim for 349$ vs Xbox One X for 499$.
Thats a huge differnce in price, would probably be enough to fight off the x.
