Why you are bringing this up again I don't know. If they wanted to really deny what Trump said they would not use such lawyer speak about a wiretap, in 2017 you don't wiretap people's phones.

It's not about the term that was used. But whether or not "Sick Obama" ordered the monitoring/surveillance, as Trump claimed. Let alone on Trump Tower.
And there is no evidence supporting the claim that the FISA warrent that FBI and JOD obtained through a court order had any connection to the Obama administration. Certain sites put the name "Obama" in front of the articles because Obama was in office when the FBI and Justice Department recieved the court order.

And from my understanding the target of this court order was an advisor of the Trump campaign being investigated for his connections with Russian agents. Trump Tower would only get involved if this individual contacted people in the Trump Tower.

The way you put it, you make it sound like "Obama didn't order a wire tap, but monitoring". That's not the case either.
The error wasn't in Trump's choice of words. It was the assertion that Obama was behind it.
