Last time i watched TV regularly was when there were music videos on (german) MTV. And Golden Boy.
I agree that 4K-TVs are for morons. The feature a 4K-tv has, that I would like to have in my 1080p-TV, is 10-bit pixel depth (of course after the industry settle for a standard for this).
Heck with my viewing distance there is no real difference between 720p and 1080p.
