8. Super Mario Galaxy 2 - nope, the first game was almost as good, it had a much bigger and far more important impact.
7. Tetris - Highly deserving, but it's weird how this is the only classic on here, and it's not even the best, biggest, or most important from its era.
6. Half-Life 2 - Yes, even though I'm not an FPS person, I recognize this one's cultural impact.
5. Bloodborne - Nope.
4. The Last of Us - Nope.
3. Grand Theft Auto V - I suppose this is deserving.
2. Dark Souls - Huh?
1. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild - the latest game considered the greatest.
In short, these guys don't respect games as art, and I can't see what kind of criteria they're using to score games on this list. It seems very haphazard.

If I'm not mistaken, the criteria they used was "not your taste". Not sure though.

looking at the list I don't think any sane person or committee could have come up with it. I don't think it is really anyones taste, what I suspect they have done is had a whip around the office to ask everyone what are your favourite 20 games in order and then used that to create this list, no other way I can see such strange entries, especially so many modern/current games that while they are ok should not even be in the list but could easily be on an individuals list of favourite games when they haven't really played that many.
