These things are decided by a committee and ultimately reflect the taste of the room. For example, there are no Pokemon games.
All that really means though, is that the people in the room making the list don't really care for Pokemon. There can be no objectivity with this sort of thing.
There are also no professional sports games, which I think would go unnoticed by most readers. I couldn't make a 100 list without including at least one though, given how much time I've spent playing them, I clearly thought they were worth something.
