The picks that surprise me are Final Fantasy 12 and Fire Emblem Fates. Neither is considered anywhere close to the best in their series, but they both are the only representatives on the list. This list really suffers in general from a 'recent games bias' problem, I'd say more than the polls we had here on the greatest games of all time.
