I thought this old article was too interesting not to share. It shows the state of the industry in 2005. It is a nice time capsule to look at.
Also it shows that Microsoft tried much harder than they do now to sell a console. Overall it needs more Nintendo talk however this was based on Peter Moore's perspective on things so I understand.
