I've been wanting an Android Smart Watch lately but I don't know why and I don't really know what they can and can't do. Does anyone here have one? Any regrets? Any recommendations?

Update/Review:

So I got a Samsung Gear S3.

At first, I was a little disappointed because I had all of these ideas in my head of what a smart watch is supposed to be. I just assumed it was a little smart phone or something. It's more like a smart phone companion and a vital part of my wardrobe, now.

I was semi active but the watch encourages activity. It tracks my exercise, sleep, heart rate, etc. automatically. For a lot of people, this isn't very important but for me, this is potentially life saving info. One day while working out, I could feel my heart pounding. According to the watch, it was beating 220bpm! It was sometimes near 100bpm when I was just relaxing. Long story short, I have high blood pressure and I'm taking my medication, now.

I'm also in a Facebook group for Samsung Health and I compete with people all over the world. I've gone from probably 3,000 steps a day to over 15,000 with a rare 20k here and there. I feel better and, while I always looked like I was in decent shape (think The Rock in 1998), I'm already much leaner--all because of the coaching of a little gadget on my wrist.

Apps are hit and miss.

YouTube: Pointless.

Phone calls: Pointless.

Music: Pointless.

Web browser: Weak and pointless.

I do love the notifications (if your phone gets a message, the watch does too and it can control the phone to a degree). There's a billion watch faces to choose from and some are quite sexy and functional. The watch itself looks sexy on my arm. It's also cool getting weather, Twitter, news notifications, etc on my wrist.

All in all, I can't recommend this to everyone. Most people will find out useless. I personally love mine and I wear it every day.
