I love competition but if valve had a total monopoly, assuming they dont do a 180 on how they are behaving right now, wouldn't be the worst thing in the world.
Cause for all their faults, if compared to say Sony which I'd say is in a similarsh position in the console market, Valve to me is a shit ton better.
Of course, with that being said, who knows what valve will be like with 100% dominance so I'd rather not take the chance. It's just that throughout the years, they have proven to be pretty "pro consumer" compared to other companies in a similar position.
Even when they mess up, they seem to at least listen and react instead of ignoring. And are trying to improve their service by listening to people by bringing in TB and etc.
