A GTX 1080 will have a hard time pulling off the visuals from the XBox One X version of ROTTR?

Are you serious?

Because right now, the only thing that comes to my mind when I read such nonsense is:

But it does even with a 1000€ CPU

Good thing then that the comparison is very different, since the PC video you linked has the game maxed out in every possible option while running at 4k, versus the Xbox One X version which not only doesn't have the same amount of detail, but also has three different modes specifically for what you want(4k mode, framerate mode, details mode) - by comparison there isn't seperate modes on the PC because it's maxing out ever single thing on screen, the details, the resolution, and the framerate at said details and resolution. As much as I can understand that the X is a great value for console gamers, it's a bit disingenous to say that it rekts PCs like a lot of people seem to be implying. Yes, that PC is having a hard time running it at 4k above 30 fps ... but it's still getting better framerate than the 4k version on the X, and it's maxing out every possible setting.

Plus, this is anecdotal evidence but, the Tomb Raider port is good to pretty good on PC, not great. I've played games that looked better than it and got consistently above 60 fps on max settings, whereas playing Rise of the Tomb  Raider would give me 55-75 fps consistently, and occasionally dip below that.

Also...wouldn't most 4k gamers on PC be using ... a 1080Ti? Not a 1080?
