Yeah, real "sim" damage would make a game unplayable. The point isn't to reach 100% realism, but an alternate reality that feels somewhat real while still keeping a game reasonable to play.

And I was just thinking about it a little and after playing Forza online a lot, no damage would SUCK. With all the little cheapshotting idiots found online, I can only imagine how cheap some of the takeouts in that game are going to be. You already see it a little in Forza but since a car will be somewhat incapacitated after a cheap shot in a corner, the person also takes himself out of the race by trying that crap.

In GT5, there is only going to be incentive to play that way instead of gamers being punished for bad behavior. The damn game is going to turn into a demolition derby online.
