Yes we don't know if they will bundle or not. But they would need to be pretty stupid after seeing WiiU and X1 bundling expensive add-ons and forcing people to pay more on the HW for it made.

From what I have official price is still 300 USD unbundled, but sure it's common to find bundled PS4 at 250. But yes it's possible that the base model get to 200 on black friday. That still doesn't make it the official price, and it have been 4 years since release.

Nope I'm saying PS5 will be the baseline, PS4 at perhaps 100-150 and PS4Pro at 250 (could be 200 or 300 who knows) will be legacy system selling for another 2 or 3 years as have been the case. But considering PS5 launching at 400 and being much more powerfull I don't see anyone that wants power to choose PS4Pro, so they would choose price, and that would be PS4Slim.

I expect PS5 at 2020, but that is dependent on Sony being able to make a big enough jump or SW sales declining.

You underestimate how stupid corporation can be when they are on top.  This is why its so interesting to see the direction companies go when they have a chance to reset.  Case in point would be Sony with the PS3, MS with the X1 and Nintendo with the WiiU.  We will see if Sony really learned anything or will they believe they can do no wrong and pull some dumb decision.

For the price of the PS4, I am going off of Amazon.  You can get the PS4 500Gb which is the very base model at 250, with a pack in game.  Go up to 1tb with pack in game its goes to 300 bones.  Just in case you are not from the US I am using US prices and location.

When I say baseline, I am talking price.  My prediction is that the PS5 will not be a next gen console.  It will be an extension of the PS4 line able to play PS4 games.  There will be no true exclusives in the sense that All games will need to be compatible with the PS4 Pro.  This will allow people with a base PS4 to move to the Pro with mininal effort in price if they do not want to go full hog with the PS5.  People looking for the best in class PS system can move straight to the 5.  This will allow Sony to sell their mid gen system and their premium system and keep a strong momentum in sales.

The reason why I do not see the slim as the base is because its not designed for 4K displays, it does not run VR games in the best situation.  In 2020, 4K displays will be the norm and thus the PS4 slim will not be a system people will be looking to purchase at that time.  People will be looking to take advantage of their new TVs and the Pro will be the entry level system for those people.

Ok I understand you are running your full argument based on assumptions over assumptions and sony making mistake after mistake. So there isn't really any point in discussing something that is purely fictional and wishfull thinking.
