Not sure what make you think I want sony to charge more than 400 for their next console, instead I am saying there is nothing making Sony charge for their next console at 400 bones. Sony could decided that the PSVR needs to be bundled with the PS5. They may come out with another device and decide it should be included along with the base hardware. Since we have no information on what the PS5 will be, to believe it will be 400 or less is you believing you already know their plans before they actually announce it. Sony has made or indicated what their plays are for their next system so lets just say that its up in the air until either leaked or announced. Also base PS4 with pack in game is 250. You are getting confused with the 1tb model with pack in game going for 300. By this holiday season you will probably get the 500gb version for 200 with pack in game and the 1tb version will be 250. If Sony has no Rush to put out the PS5 then when do you expect them to release it. Also why would the PS4 Pro not be the baseline in 3 to 4 years. If the PS4 is the baseline now how would things change when the PS5 hit the market or are you saying the PS4 sline will remain the baseline.

Yes we don't know if they will bundle or not. But they would need to be pretty stupid after seeing WiiU and X1 bundling expensive add-ons and forcing people to pay more on the HW for it made.
From what I have official price is still 300 USD unbundled, but sure it's common to find bundled PS4 at 250. But yes it's possible that the base model get to 200 on black friday. That still doesn't make it the official price, and it have been 4 years since release.
Nope I'm saying PS5 will be the baseline, PS4 at perhaps 100-150 and PS4Pro at 250 (could be 200 or 300 who knows) will be legacy system selling for another 2 or 3 years as have been the case. But considering PS5 launching at 400 and being much more powerfull I don't see anyone that wants power to choose PS4Pro, so they would choose price, and that would be PS4Slim.
I expect PS5 at 2020, but that is dependent on Sony being able to make a big enough jump or SW sales declining.
