Before the Nintendo fanbase tears you to shreds, I just want to wish you the best. Good luck!

I'm still in one piece, seems they agree :p

But really:
- no compatibility with old controllers like the WiiU supported all Wii controllers
- controller price hike for hardly noticeable 'benefits'
- less comfortable to hold due to tiny controllers and stick placement
- no backwards compatiility
- limited to playing on 1 screen at a time, no multi screen co-op or versus
- no camera on the handheld portion
- games limited to working without touchscreen controls
- no you tube / netflix (might be added later)
- can't watch the screen while charging in the dock

I loved playing BotW on it and am looking forward to Mario Odyssey, yet the thing just sits idle while the WiiU is getting used daily. It's a whole lot of sacrifices to turn it into the most powerful handheld.

While I disagree entirely (I think the Wii U is a giant failure in game hardware design) you aren't wrong about a few things on the Switch, and it definitely needs some media features asap. It is worth noting there are cheap charging docks for use while charging, it's compatible with 3rd party controllers like the 8bitdo and a slew of others that have USB adapters (including PS3 and PS4 controllers), and is in general a step in the right direction (imo).

In terms of it sitting idle.. it's a new system, they're all are a bit lacking initially. I've mostly been playing Sonic on it lately, which still doesn't feel right.
