I stopped using TXAA in GTA V because they claimed it would do away with the jags, but not cost as much as MSAA, yet you still need to have 2X MSAA enabled to make it work. HBAO+ asks for that bit more power in games like FF XIV, but it's not a massive difference to tank performance, visually it's not that much different either.
We'll soon see how AMD cards manage the game with gameworks turned on vs off.
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
