Soo...sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo many!
-Souls-like needs to die as a term. It honestly is a pretty useful descriptor but there are so many games coming out copying Dark Souls that it's hardly worth mentioning the term over and over again. Not only that, it's grossly overused for many games that aren't even similar to Dark Souls.
-Stop saying that every game that's hard is like Dark Souls. Dark Souls, even in the modern industry, is not the only hard game.
-Bioware fans are extremely .......... eeeeeeeeeeexxxxxxtreeeeeeeeeeeemely out of touch with the company's track record. They keep blaming EA for everything, and fair enough ... they probably did screw over a lot of their projects. But their track record has been pretty bad for a while now.
Dragon Age 2 (2011) - mixed reception(79-82/100 from reviewers, 4.3-4.5/10 review score from players)
Star Wars : The Old Republic (2011) - mixed reception(85 from reviewers, 5.9/10 review score from players)
Mass Effect 3 (2012) - mixed reception(85-93/100 from reviewers, 5.6-5.8/10 review score from players)
Dragon Age Inquisition (2014) - mixed reception(84-89/100 from reviewers, 5.9-7.4/10 review score from players)
Mass Effect Andromeda (2017) - bad reception(71-76/100 from reviewers, 4.8-5.0/10 review score from players)
The early Bioware to 2010 Bioware is just very very different.
-EA has been producing more consumer friendly policies for the last few years. I'm not saying they don't have issues, they do, but I don't think they're the worst publisher anymore ... not by a long shot.
-As a kid I loved Pokemon but could never get into the DS games. I liked Battle Royale but didn't know how to use HMs to progress in Diamond/Pearl. Bought 3 different Pokemon games, couldn't play any of them xD. So now as a teenager I've went and played Pokemon Omega Ruby and Pokemon Moon ............... these games are not that good. They're ... "interesting", but too many mechanics are not explained to the player, too much of the game is boring and tedious ... all the side content is repetitive and sucks ... they still haven't really made any "quests" of any sort except maybe the end game content ... speaking of which there's very little end game content. Restarting with a different Pokemon holds very little value. Especially in Pokemon Sun and Moon ... where the selection of Pokemon you can get through normal means is very limited. Just in general ... Pokemon is the definition of "wasted potential." I'd give the games like a 70 something at best.
-Ocarina of Time is a very overrated game. The game doesn't even utilize it's concept well at all. The game is called "Ocarina of Time" which makes the player associate the Ocarina with Time travel. But in actuality the ocarina has almost nothing to do with time travel(yes....it might be a reference to the Song of Time, but it's still such a misleading name). The game consistently tries to make the Ocarina seem more important than it is by cramming it into the plot when it really isn't integral at all to the game. It's just a "puzzle solving" tool, in which case i'd have to ask why these puzzles are so easy and repetitive. The only time I liked using the Ocarina was in the water temple, in which case you could just replace the Ocarina with a literal switch. The time travel mechanic as a whole is a joke. It's repetitive and annoying and it isn't even used in an interesting way for the most part. The game should have made it so that you can time travel anytime you want, or at least in dungeons, that way more than two dungeons could utilize the time travel mechanic. Worse is that when the game actually makes you use the time travel mechanic, it's a chore because it requires backtracking. Furthermore, the Ocarina is only important as a gameplay mechanic. The master sword is only important as a plot device. This makes the two most important parts of the game - the Ocarina and the Time travel extremely disjointed from each other. Majora's Mask not only uses the Ocarina MORE than Ocarina of Time, but it connects it with time travel ... all while having basically 3 completely new gimmicks in one game. Yeah .... and Ocarina is better ... lol
-Breath of the Wild had legitimate issues that were practically censored by Nintendo fans. It's a great game, an amazing game even .. but it has issues. A lot of them.
And I could think of a gazillion bajillion more!
