How come so many people are unable to spell simple words?

Eh...it's easy to make mistakes. I'm not writing a formal paper here, so if I misspell something, it is what it is. It's more important that the semantics works rather than the syntax.

Since we're on the topic of random grammar errors though...I heard someone say "for all intensive purposes" during a presentation at work the other day..and boy, did I cringe.
