well somtimes it's like my mind tricks me. like I know both meanings. but I forget which is which. the same in german. eg tot = dead, tod = death. most of the time I'm right but knowing that I often confuse them, I start to doubt myself and that confuses me even more. I got the same with the number 14 and 17. like my mind using the same memory block for both numbers. I remember a date with 14 .. after I week I'm not sure if it was 14 or 17.
