Some people are buying the console to play the "Superior Version" of 3rd Party Games, which is totally valid IMO.
Thing is: Will it really run better? Are developers going to take advantage of the extra juice?
There are a few examples of games running on the PS4 PRO worse than on the OG PS4, who says that this wouldnt be happening on the One X?
At the end of the day, consoles are a locked enviroment which depends entirely on the developer. If the developer fucks up, the One X could easily be receiving the worst version of the game, or the best...
I know the hype is real and all that, but my advice would be to wait for Digital Foundry to make real life test and see for yourself if the console is worth the 500 bucks.
The best example of a midgen upgrade is already here, and weve seen how it is doing.
