You should try Knight Fever.
Sidescrolling, RPG, Hero-Defense style game. Set in medieval times, play with knights, mages, archers, and cats!
The pixel-style art is endearing, and the sprite changes per awakening is something to look forward to. Best of all is the gameplay which is unique and unlike any other fantasy games. Better play this game if you're looking for a challenging game that will keep you occupied for a loooong time :))
