I'm really at a loss as far as rating this latest episode. So dumb in many ways, but incredibly awesome in others.. I guess I'd settle at an 8 out of 10.

Positives
- Amazing battle scenes
- Interesting and humorous dialogue between the "magnificent 7"
- freaking ice dragon!

Negatives
- WTF is going on with Arya?
- More dumb teleportation all over Westeros
- Many minor plot details that make little sense - ie - why does the Night King throw his spear at Viscerys and not Drogon? Why the hell does the Hound provoke the Walkers by throwing rocks? How does Gendry run to the wall, send a raven, get a message to Dany, who is able to save the guys north of the wall in such a short time?
- Lack of deaths to make things more intense outside of Thoros, Viscerys, and random dudes traveling with the 7 heroes.

The show runners clearly either - are rushing the plot to get to the end of the show, don't have near the talent of George R.R Martin, or both.. But they sure do know how to provide a visual spectacle at least. That's really the only reason I'm still watching, in addition to wanting to see where everything goes, as I'm so invested in all of the characters at this point, I can't look away.
