Don't stress it, we'll know that soon enough with how well Switch software sells ... 
Nintendo's hardware sales mostly depend on the strength of it's IPs so once Super Mario Odyssey comes out and after the holidays we'll get hint in comparison to the 3DS ... (SM3DL was able to sell over 10M units and whatever direction SMO goes will be a big result)
