Just downloaded the demo and played a little in handheld mode, and have to say the experience is much better than on 3DS. It combines the best of both worlds from console MH and handheld MH, as we all expected. I have a Circle Pad Pro for my 3DS, and the controls still feel clunky and tedious even with the Circle Pad Pro, on Switch it is a very smooth experience, and the better image quality makes seeing things much easier. The graphics do feel more than a mere resolution upgrade (unlike Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate for Wii U which felt like a downgrade of Tri in some areas since it was a 3DS port.)
Playing the demo makes me even more pissed that Capcom probably won't bring this to the West. Generations was an incomplete game (no G Rank) and I was willing to hash out extra money to get the complete version with my save date. Truly honestly, fuck Capcom. Might not get World, even though it looks great, just to spite them.
