I've been meaning to check out some of the recent manga recs, but so far I've only read some of Kakukaku Shikajika, since I find it to be a little relate-able, since I also love drawing and would love to do comics and other illustrations some day, and so far I've found it to be an interesting read. I really want to learn more about the teacher with the bamboo sword. I figure he's an artist too, but I'd love to learn more about him.... as well as the mangaka who studied and improved under him xD
But I've really been absorbed into Tales of the Unusual. There's been a lot of unique stories with some really weird premises and often, grim ends. They're not all horror themed though. There's a few sweet and even comical ones as well xD
