Definitely not a day one buy, no matter how much I loved the first. But if it turns out you can ignore the microtransactions (and multiplayer), then it will eventually find its way on my system.

Well you can ignore them, but the game will be not as fun due to them. You know, what normally took an hour of say grinding now takes 3 hours. The better rate drop chests are real money only and the ingame ones have horrible drop rates. Stuff like that.

Have...have you played it already somehow? I've played a few RPGs that have "buy XP/coin/progression stuff" and none of that mattered or made the game feel overlong, they exist for crappy players who need a crutch. Like I said, not a day one buy because I want to hear if the microtransactions ruin things or not. There really wasn't any grinding in the first - you get abilities as you progress in the story - so I don't have any reason to expect the sequel to.
