Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union being similar doesn't mean that Nazism and communism are similar, it means that two very authoritarian regimes are similar. Also, not long after Hitler came to power, the Nazi regime started to dismantle trade unions, which shows that it was purely a means of gaining support from the working class, once in power they almost immediately went after those who they claimed to represent: http://hmd.org.uk/content/02051933-dissolution-german-trade-unions |
Yes both are authoritarian, with an elit class that have all the power, control the economy and society in its totality, so? I'm talking about the actions and results not the excuses both regims used.
