Trump carried Utah by a margin of 18 percentage points. I'm not sure that that actually makes Utah a "battleground state". ;)

It had a strong third party showing which caused the polls to be very close.  So we were labeled as a battleground state by pollsters.  Still, 18 points is weakest margin of victory for a republican presidential candidate that I can remember.
