I mean...the answer is right here. Might as well ask, "Do you consider yourself an asshole?" When the implication is negative then the assumption is that people won't embrace that term.

I love Japanese culture, anime, manga, and video games, and collect figurines and memorabilia from various shows I like...so I'm probably more passionate about Japanese culture than most. I don't exactly care to label myself or others though...just simply something I enjoy. Never really understood the negative stigma, especialy when I see so many irreverent movies or TV shows with much more mainstream appeal that I don't personally enjoy.

I honestly have a lot more respect for people who are passionate about their hobbies than those who cast petty labels on someone for liking something more than they do.
