Yeah, I agree that's some shady business! Amiibos should be optional and simply add some extra flavour or something like that. Locking up parts of the game for you to pay to play isn't cool. I could understand if they pulled a Zelda BOTW and released a dlc later on with extra features, but forcing you to pay for an Amiibo is shitty
