Stardew Valley is both farming and RPG. Seems a lot of people don't know that it's also a dungeon crawler. So it's not a very new concept. Other Harvest Moon spinoffs did it too.
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
