I only pay for live when I want to play with other pals - but really.. that was a low blow and you should think about others feelings on this faceless internet thread in which no emotion or feeling is truly detected - Besides, if I bought a ps3 it would still mean I'd be paying for Live anyways, it makes no difference - its still cash out of the wallet.
The money excuse is poor ? Why do you really care whether it is valid or not - Dr. Phil? Do you think anybody who wants to play a game should automatically drop $460 - also, the temptation to buy more games on another console is high - which means I'd have to fight temptation to keep my bloody paws off Lair or PS2 games (do you realize the attractive library). Games are like crack, just look what it did to some of the World of Warcraft players.
