I kinda expect my expensive mainboard to be able to handle 1-2kg that's safely secured and distributes its weight over 4 screws. I'm not afraid of water in my PC but it seems such a hassle for practically no gain over a big tower cooler. |
For most of us, the weight of the cooler is not a problem. But for those that, for several reasons, move their PC often, it can be a cause of concern.
I haven't tried watercooling yet. I wanted to give it a go with my GPU as I'm more than fine with the Noctua for the CPU, both in temps and noise, but no one makes full blocks for the card I got, so I'll have to wait for my next one to try it :-/.
Please excuse my bad English.
