Here's my current problem with Microsoft, and I say this as someone who loved the Xbox360: As far as games are concerned, Microsoft teaming up with Nintendo would just produce a console that has Nintendo games I want, which already exists.
Another way of saying it... I almost never see a game that's exclusive to the Xbox brand and not available for me on the PC that I actually want, so they'd bring nothing game-wise to any partnership in the near future. They could certainly foot the bill for more powerful hardware, but that's about it.
