They would not defend a game with a metacritic score of 1 just because it's Mario. On the other hand, Nintendo has made dozens of critically and commercially successful games. People don't like Breath of the Wild because it's Zelda. They like Breath of the Wild because it's one of the best, if not the best game they've ever played, something which critics and gamers alike agree on. It's ignorant of you to think that Nintendo only wins because of nostalgia, considering how they have games from across 3 decades that are all considered to be among the best games ever made. Nintendo wins because their games are great. It's as simple as that. |
No need to be insulting. I was being respectful. I am open to correction. Nintendo games are great to a majority Nintendo site. I don't enjoy them that much. I'm not hating on those that do though.
