Hats, Sunglasses, Eyeglasses, and Headphones, seem to tell a different story.

If something delivers an incredible experience, ehances social experiences, or greatly changes things for the better, people are more than willing to wear stuff on their head.

Cutrent VR is not quite there as far as social experience goes, and resolution needs to improve to deliver an experience that everyone feels comfortable in. That will change very quickly though. PSVR2, Vive 2, Rift 2, and ehatever Microsoft delivers will all be much better than current VR, at better prices, and while being much sleeker. The experience will be so good that people will have no problem wearing whatever is required.

Of course... those are monstrosities. /rolleyes

Get it working in a pair of glasses and you might have a sucessful product.

There was this last October

It wasn't succesful, nowhere to be found now.

With light leakage I doubt you can ever make them that small and work well. Perhaps ski goggles size would work. I can see beyond the edges of my glasses, too small for VR experience. The picture or fov in the headset extends beyond the frame of my glasses.
