But what is the point in getting an expensive 4K TV if you don't value content in higher resolution than 1080p? |
My TV is actually a cheap off-brand one that I bought to supplement my monitor for PC games. It was less than most 1080p televisions and in fact less than the price of a PS4 Pro. You can tell all of its costs of production were used to make the screen look beautiful. The sound is crappy, and the customization/software support is pretty bad. But I already have external speakers and don't care too much about adjusting the settings through the television. No HDR though, as far as I can tell, but the image and colors still look great.
I mostly got it so that I could play games from a distance as my monitor is only 24 inch and the tv is 40. The 4k version was only $50 more than the 1080p one, so I thought, why not?
