If you have a 4k tv, yes. Other than that, no.
I'm pretty happy with my Pro purchase. Even though not all games are true 4k, the image quality is still superior than the standard PS4 (2160p checkerboard, 1800p, 1440p, better graphical options, ect.).
The Pro also has a boost mode. It makes frames per second more stable or better on PS4 games without a Pro patch (for example, Assassin's Creed Unity now runs at a smooth 30 fps).
