Mmk well let's see here, you have someone that wants to play with their friend on MineCraft friend "A" has a PS4 and friend "B" has an Xbox, they can only play with eachother with crossplatform. Now with most Crossplatform games such as FF14 you create an account to play on their servers and across all platforms you can play with eachother. MS owns Minecraft so it is only logical that they want you to make a microsoft account to play on thier servers so if you are friend "A" you need to make an MS account to play with friend "B". The biggest difference though is that with FF14 its a third party game and MineCraft is now a First party game. So my question is How in the Hell do you actually believe that MS will not use all of these PS4 users that would have to make Xbox LIVE accounts to play MineCraft crossplatform with other consoles and not count them as MAU's for Xbox live.

And if you don't think MS are "Desperate" for more MAU's that's fine, but MS are trying to make sony look bad for not having "Crossplatfrom" but as it stands the Playstation has had more Crossplatform games and sony has been doing it for years compared to the Xbox. But go ahead and try and say that MS want Crossplatfrom play and Sony don't when it's more then just 2 games, one of which they own.

They don't use iOS or Android users, which I would guess vastly outnumber the amount of PS4 owners who play MC online.

Sony seems fine with cross platform play, unless it involves other consoles.
