I actually liked the Bran scene and how it showed the effect of Green Dreams and the Three Eyed Crow. Events happen and you see so much that being emotionally invested loses meaning. You see how fleeting a lifetime is and I think on a modern mind that would have a profound effect, much less a middle ages equivalent one.
