A more powerful dock would just be a new console with its own CPU, GPU, RAM etc. The connector does not allow for extensive sharing of components, i.e. it is not like Expresscard.
What would be the point of a better console right now? Most Nintendo games are optimized for FHD displays and Nintendo will not go for 4K now.
