The Switch thing is a very bad argument. The reason people find it appealing is because it offers something unique. It's a powerful (for a) handheld/hybrid, that has the full focus of Nintendo's 1st party output. It's the same thing for the PS4/Pro. Only it is a powerful home console, with great 3rd party support, as well. They kinda compete, but they also kinda don't.

XBX, on the other hand, is just more of the same from MS, only with more power, fewer exclusives, and a crazy price. For me, the only way it would be worth it is if MS put in a better CPU to guarantee 60 fps and announced a bunch of new AAA exclusives for the XBO family. Instead, like I said, it's just more of the same.
