The best looking cartoon art styled games right now remain Sunset Overdrive and Ratchet & Clank.

SNIP

To be fair, Sunset Overdrive whilst having a ton of charm... Is starting to show it's age now graphically.
It's still IMHO one of the best exclusives on the Xbox and is worthy of being in any serious Xbox One collection, but that just says allot about how good that game is and how poorly the Xbox as a whole is doing on the exclusives front.

Sadly, I think sales were shit so I doubt we will get a sequel.

Yep, people saying it looks like a 2008/2009 game need their eyes checked.

It is graphically simple. Take a closer look at the game and you will see that the game lacks any kind of real fine detail that we have come to expect this console generation. - Geometry is all flat, character models look simple.
The lighting isn't anything to write home about.
The art style helps hide the texture work, so that's a plus.

If that is the concession they had to make for city-wide destruction to work then I am fine with that as Gameplay is ultimately more important, but Microsoft hasn't been very communicative on that front... And that is turning gamers off as this thread shows.

I'll pick it up either way, Microsoft's exclusives need every little bit of support they can get right now.
