Don't see what Rand is making such a big deal about. The marketing is bad so far, yes. But, that's only part of the issue. It's what people have been seeing of the game so far that's got people second-guessing it. The game has been downgraded from what was shown to us the first time, and the cloud destruction they've been hyping since the debut has yet to make a real world showing.

Honestly, when the game looks like this, is environmental destruction even a big deal anymore? This isn't really a game series worth falling on your sword over. Crackdown has its fans I suppose, but let's face it, a lot of people were exposed to it because of the Halo betas. He says he wants the game to do well, but on what merits? There's not a lot there to champion. He should hope for it to be a solid game, not just expecting everyone to rally behind it just because it's an Xbox title.
