People need to understand that everyone has preferences and consumers are not beholden to create professional reviews. What's wrong with denying a game because of certain gameplay aspects? What's it to you if someone doesn't want to play a game after 10 minutes?
I'm sure you've also looked at countless video game covers or descriptions and instantly rejected a game because of that without giving it a proper chance. You're being a bit hypocritical and judgmental here.
I've seen people rejecting FFXIII after only 20h even though the game gets a lot better after 40h. But I don't judge them for it. It's not their fault that they have shit taste.
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
